Local storage

Aegis saves your records in a local desktop database. This website does not contain a client workspace or collect your case records.

Accounts, payments & activation

Clerk handles sign-in and account recovery. Cloudflare hosts this website and stores account identifiers, trial dates, purchase records, team seats, device names and hashed device credentials for software access. PayPal processes payments. Case records stay in your local app database and are not uploaded to your website account.

Connected providers

When you initiate a provider action, the information needed for that action is sent to the selected provider. Review the action and the provider's policies before proceeding.

Backups

Export and restore records in the app's Settings page. Backups can contain personal information. Store them securely. Provider credentials are stored separately from record backups.
